winter fest with Finnis-Brothers at RAUM FÜR ZWECKFREIHEIT

Projectionist brothers Stefan & Thomas Finnis have been active for years in London, creating installations of still and moving images for contemporary music events large and small. An important foundation of their work is a broad slide collection of original material from British universities and other institutions of the 50s to the 70s, as well as private collections of the same era.

For this occasion, photographer Dino Frank from Berlin is invited by the Finnis brothers to show his own slide works alongside - a collaboration of still images for RAUM FÜR ZWECKFREIHEIT.

We warmly invite you to an evening of illumination, music, mulled wine, and delicious winter foods.

Saturday 12 December 2009, from 8pm.

Thanks Dave Smith, Dublin, for design

The RAUM FÜR ZWECKFREIHEIT (SPACE FOR 'PURPOSELESSNESS' - in the sense of 'free research')
provides exactly the same in a backyard house at Adalbertstrasse 71 in the centre of Berlin.
